Counselling offers you a place to slow down and explore the state of your mind, providing you with a confidential space to work through complex feelings and thoughts. It can help you increase self knowledge so you feel more authentic with greater self-acceptance and confidence.
In the first session we would meet and talk about your reasons for coming to counselling and together consider whether continuing to meet would be beneficial. We can work together for an agreed number of sessions or work on a open-ended basis. It can be difficult to know how many sessions are needed so we can discuss this in the first session and regularly review this if we choose to continue meeting.
